Cambodia Entry Changes for 2026: Full Electronic Entry, Visa-Free for Chinese Passports, E-Cigarettes Prohibited
Planning a trip to Cambodia during the Mid-Autumn Festival or National Day? Here are the key changes to note: entry is now fully electronic, Chinese passports enjoy temporary visa-free status, but e-cigarettes are strictly prohibited. All passengers must fill out the e-Arrival electronic entry card, which covers entry, health, and customs declaration. Holders of Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, and Macao passports can enter visa-free from June 15 to October 15, 2026, with a maximum stay of 14 days per entry. An electronic visa is an optional alternative, costing around $30 and valid for 3 months with a 1-month stay. Cambodia strictly controls e-cigarettes, prohibiting their import, possession, and use, along with related chemicals. Other prohibited items include drugs, psychotropic substances, and weapons.15 sourcesSee all sources
