Arab States Gather in Doha to Strengthen Anti-Corruption Measures
The sixth session of the Conference of the States Parties to the Arab Anti-Corruption Convention took place in Doha, Qatar, focusing on enhancing preventive measures, financial investigations, mutual legal assistance, and transparency in beneficial ownership. The event, chaired by Qatar's Administrative Control and Transparency Authority, brought together representatives from 21 countries to discuss strengthening regional cooperation and combating corruption. Key topics included strengthening the review mechanism of the Arab Convention against Corruption, enhancing preventive measures, and improving transparency.
