Najib's Pardon Application Postponed
The Federal Territories Pardons Board, chaired by Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Ibrahim, decided to postpone the consideration of former Prime Minister Najib Razak's pardon application. Najib, who has been serving time since 2022 for his involvement in the 1MDB corruption case, will continue to serve his sentence. The board also granted pardons to 65 other prisoners. Najib's lawyer stated they will continue to fight for their client's pardon or sentence reduction.15 sourcesSee all sources
