A new virus, ALTNV, has been detected in China, with cases reported in Wuhan, the epicenter of the COVID-19 outbreak. Transmitted through tick bites, it causes high fever, weakness, stomach upset, and reduced platelet levels, increasing the risk of internal bleeding.
