U.S. Strikes Iran in Response to Missile Attack
U.S. Central Command forces successfully conducted a series of powerful strikes against Iran on July 29 at 22:00 Eastern Time, in response to an attempted rocket attack on American troops the previous day. The strikes targeted dozens of sites belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), including military command centers, missile and drone facilities, coastal defense sites, and naval capabilities. The aim was to reduce threats posed by Iran and its proxies to U.S. forces, commercial shipping, and neighboring countries of the Persian Gulf. All Iranian missiles launched on July 28 were intercepted by U.S. forces.88 sourcesSee all sources
