
YMTC Files for $4.9 Billion IPO in Shanghai
YMTC, a Chinese memory chipmaker, has filed for an Initial Public Offering (IPO) on the Shanghai Sci-Tech Innovation Board, aiming to raise approximately CNY 330 billion (around USD 6.8 trillion). The company plans to use the funds to upgrade its production lines and fund research and development. After the listing, YMTC's market capitalization is expected to reach up to CNY 3300 billion (around USD 680 billion).
