    ChatGPT Introduces Computer History Feature for Mac

    OpenAI has introduced Computer History, an opt-in feature for ChatGPT on Mac that records user activity across apps and websites, turning that data into memories and a timeline that the chatbot can recall. The feature, which is not available in the EEA, Switzerland, or the UK, records events like clicks, typing, keyboard shortcuts, app switches, and accessibility context, summarizing them into plain-text Markdown files stored locally. OpenAI warns of prompt injection risks and advises users to protect their Mac accounts and exclude confidential information.

    Putin to Hold Talks with Myanmar President Min Aung Hlaing

    Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with Myanmar's President Min Aung Hlaing on August 18 in the Kremlin. The two leaders will discuss avenues for deepening Russia-Myanmar cooperation in various areas, as well as topical issues on the international and regional agendas. Several cooperation agreements are expected to be signed during the visit. This will be Min Aung Hlaing's first visit to Russia as President, although he has met with Putin previously.
