ROS Cancels PN Registration Over Violation of Party Constitution
The Registrar of Societies (ROS) has confirmed the cancellation of the registration of the National Alliance Party (PN) for violating its constitution. The decision was made under subsection 13(1)(c)(iv) of the Societies Act 1966 after PN failed to refute the grounds for cancellation in its explanation. The cancellation notice cited PN's denial of the Malaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU)'s rights to attend and participate in a meeting as a violation of Clause 7.1 of the PN Constitution.40 sourcesSee all sources
