Former FSU QB Thomas Castellanos Exploring Return to College Football
Former Florida State Seminoles quarterback Thomas Castellanos plans to explore a return to college football for a fifth season of eligibility, according to On3's Pete Nakos. Castellanos, who went undrafted in the 2026 NFL Draft, is open to playing as a quarterback or 'athlete'. He has played in 38 games across FSU, Boston College, and UCF, throwing for 6,449 yards, 48 touchdowns, and 28 interceptions, while rushing for 1,984 yards and 24 touchdowns. Castellanos' return to Tallahassee seems unlikely due to FSU's full quarterback room, but he could enter the transfer portal and play at a new school.5 sourcesSee all sources
